This is the newest addition to St Croix fly rod collection. Incorporating St. Croix's revolutionary Integrated Poly Curve technology, Legend Elite fly rods are designed with one continuous curve which eliminates weak spots. The result is mind-staggering cannon-like casting power coupled with a remarkable degree of feel.
These St Croix fly rods are built from high-modulus, high-strain SCV graphite with carbon-matte scrim and outfitted with the absolute finest components available. The Legend Elite® fly rods also feature St. Croix's new slim-profile ferrule technology. This gives them slimmer and lighter ferrules that transfer power better than the old, larger ones.
Legend Elite® fly rods to the rescue. St Croix completely redesigned this series last year to meet the demands of the most intense fresh and saltwater fly fishing applications encountered. Lighter, slim-profile ferrules and stunning cosmetics are married to premium, high-modulus, and high-strain SCII graphite blanks with carbon-matte scrim and loaded with ART™ and IPC® technologies. Legend Elites also feature SCVI graphite in the lower portion of the rod for added power and reduced weight.
The result is enough space-age science and American handcraftsmanship to give you a four-piece rod that performs like a one-piece.
